The PTSA provides a range of education training and learning experiences. We are a Teaching School, working in partnership with local schools and other education providers. Our primary purpose is to:
– coordinate and deliver high quality school-based initial teacher training
– provide high quality school to school support
– coordinate training provision for teacher and leadership development

Since Broadstone First School was designated a teaching school the Alliance has grown to include strategic partners from primary, secondary, special and church schools along with Southampton University. We are continuing to build relationships with other further education providers. As an Alliance our aim is to respond to local need as well as national need and offer a range of professional development opportunities to all schools.
